Our Methods
The classical methodology employed at VCA was developed in the medieval period; however, its beginning can be traced even further back to the classical period of ancient Greece and Rome. Two very different types of education existed during this ancient time. Vocational training was used primarily for slaves. The other, for freemen, focused on the development of the mind and the soul. This latter "liberal" education derived its meaning from the Latin word for freedom, libera.
